ko.be/boardgraphics - a windsurfbrand concept started in 2001, since I was not happy at the time with the brands on the market. They didn't make any effort in making the boards visual appealing. Blank surface bottom sides and pore visuals on the top were the standard by every brand back in 2000. And all that when windsurfing is such a fun and extreme sport. A big whitespace clearly visible with every jump was triggering enough to see new opportunities as a designer.
The graphic style of the brand is inspired by the typical 50'-60's graphic surfposters of movies and contests of that era.
As for the boards, in the original range every board was linked to a tropic or deep water colourful fish, since being in the water is their natural place to be.
